The Flash Jackman Origin Story
Bill and MJ birthed Flash Jackman on a warm summer night in 2021 in Greensboro, NC. They had been playing together for a few years in various personal and professional settings, so there was already a mutual respect and friendship. Tired of repeatedly watching the same local bar bands and mutually seeking new songwriting projects, they set out parameters for the Flash Jackman experience and got to work. Recorded at Willisoundz Studios in Nashville TN, Mixed by Shinya Miyamoto in Queens and Mastered at by Fred Kevorkian in Brooklyn, their self-titled first studio record was released on Christmas Day, 2023.
Bill Davidson
Bill Davidson is a Rock artist originally from NC. Bill spent nearly two decades as a signed staff writer in Nashville, TN. He was also a road musician for many major label country artists that put him on tour buses seeing the country and regularly playing at the Grand Ole Opry and Ryman Auditorium. Bill has been blessed to have hits with Mark Mcguinn "More Beautiful Today" and album recordings by Mark McGuinn, Georgette Jones, Corinne Chapman and others along the way. Bill also has a self titled record called Space Jacket that can be found and purchased on iTunes, Amazon, Google, Spotify, Title, Napster, Shazam, Spinlet or other streaming services!
Marshall Johnson (The Infamous MJ)
MJ’s musical journey has led him all across the country and through a dizzying array of professional musical experiences. Rock/Pop projects, a cappella, praise bands, vocal jazz, Gospel choir, musical theater, bluegrass and Bach festivals litter his resume, along with a 2003 Grammy Nomination for Best Classical Crossover Album. An impressive list of New York and West Coast singing credits balance a long career in music education, capped off with the creation of a new Modern Band curriculum to train and inspire the next generation of aspiring local artists.
